CEWQO 2011
The Central European Workshop on Quantum Optics (CEWQO) has provided for several years an annual forum for the European quantum optics community to present their latest scientific results. An important feature of the meeting is also the possibility for young researchers to interact with some of the leading figures in quantum optics and related fields, including
- Fundamental aspects of quantum optics and quantum mechanics
- Coherence, entanglement and decoherence
- Quantum computing and information theory
- Open quantum systems and non-Markovian dynamics
- Cold atoms and quantum gases
- Cavity and circuit QED
- Optomechanics
- Trapped ions
- Quantum optics in condensed matter systems
- Quantum optics with neutrons, atoms, molecules and macromolecules
The 18th CEWQO brings this series for the first time to Spain. The programme will start on Monday 30 May, and it ends on Friday 3 June. The conference venue is at Hotel Husa Princesa, located next to the Moncloa area, and very close by the city historical center.
Welcome to Madrid!
